How to read the honesty tags in Statistics
The four tags — real, approximate, coming soon, and inventory — why some payment metrics are estimates, and which metrics are not live yet.
To make a sound decision you need to know where a number came from. That's why every metric carries a tag.
The four tags
| Tag | How it looks | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Real | No badge | Built from actual data |
| Approximate | Amber badge | An estimated or indirectly derived value |
| Coming soon | Dimmed, value "—" | Not live yet |
| Inventory | A dedicated tag | Needs inventory data to work |
Why some payment metrics are estimates
The Payments page relies on a cash-on-delivery model in many cases, and that model gives no instant confirmation of collection — so some of its metrics are shown as estimates rather than real values.
Metrics still marked coming soon
- Refunds.
- Some shipping metrics such as average delivery time and average delivery cost.
When making a commercial decision (raising an ad budget, for example) lean on the real metrics first, and treat estimated ones as a direction indicator rather than a final number.
