Themes, appearance, and previewing your storefront
How to pick, activate and preview your storefront theme, what each of the four per-theme actions does, and how colours and fonts are controlled.
Your theme is what your customer actually sees. Everything about it lives under Appearance → Themes.
What the page shows
- The active theme currently running on your store.
- A theme catalog you can search and filter.
The four per-theme actions

| Activate | Makes the theme your live storefront |
| Preview | Shows how the theme looks before you decide |
| Open editor | Opens the theme editor to adjust details |
| Open storefront | Opens your storefront as customers see it |
Always preview before activating. Activation changes what customers see immediately; a preview never touches your live store.
AI-generated theme variants
The platform supports AI-generated theme variants covering colours and typography — meaning you get more than one visual identity from the same theme without manual design work.
Fonts
Fonts are chosen during the setup step and drive your storefront's typography. You can reopen the setup wizard to change them.
Store pages
From Appearance → Pages you edit your store's static pages and policies. Full details in Store pages and policies.
