Managing inventory: adjustments, movements, and import

The unified Inventory page: the insights strip, status tabs (low/out of stock), stock adjustments, the movement log per product and store-wide, and CSV import/export.

Products → Inventory brings everything about quantities into one screen.

What the page shows

  • An insights strip summarising your stock health.
  • A unified table with search and sorting.
  • Status tabs including low stock and out of stock — the fastest route to what needs reordering.

Adjusting stock

Use the Adjust stock action to correct a product's or a variant's quantity. Every adjustment is written to the movement log, so no change loses its trail.

The movement log

  • A movement-log drawer per product: the history of every increase and decrease for that product.
  • All movements store-wide: the complete picture of stock activity.

When the physical count disagrees with the system, always start from the movement log — it tells you when and how the number changed.

CSV import and export

  1. Export CSV to get a file of current quantities.
  2. Edit the quantities in the file.
  3. Import the file back.

After importing, a result summary shows: total, updated, unchanged, and failed. Always check the failed count before treating the run as successful.

The Statistics → Inventory page is a separate screen and is still coming soon. Actual inventory management happens here.
